Plank Knee Touches... Get into plank on elbows. Elbows under your shoulders. Belly button pulled to your spine to activate your core. Be sure to keep your back level with the ground. Bend one knee to the ground and touch and return to straight leg normal plank position. Alternate knee touch downs. Breathing while doing plank is key for core muscles to fully engage. Slow and steady movements to maintain form.
I grew up in Dallas, Texas with two younger brothers and amazing parents. I was a gymnast for over 13 years and it taught me a lot. I started college at University of Colorado in Colorado Springs and fell in love with Colorado. I took my first nutrition/exercise class there and at that time realized my passion for learning about how the body works. I continued my education at Arizona State University where I graduated Summa Cum Laude in Kinesiology/Exercise Science.
I personal trained privately and at a private studio in Arizona and loved helping clients get fit and transform their bodies to where they loved themselves. I taught one-on-one sessions as well as group training. Then an opportunity to get into the medical field presented itself and I started working for a Hospitalist group. I then moved to Washington State and worked for a Neurosurgeon and eventually a Vascular surgeon before staying home with my children. I am very thankful for all the experience and knowledge I acquired.
I met my wonderful husband who shares the same lifestyle and love of fitness. Now I am lucky to be a mom of two amazing kids. Once I moved out of the crazy toddler years, I realized how much I missed training. I started out helping family and friends embrace a healthier lifestyle. My client base quickly grew and I realized my passions in life are: God, being a wife, mom, and personal training.
Being a mom of two little ones I know how hard it is to get your BodyBack after pregnancies and keep it off. I am a strong believer in daily exercise and hitting your 10,000 steps a day. I love teaching women the proper form and exercises that will help them feel and look strong and healthy.
